 Making an Impact

There are many ways in which you to make an impact on Kennesaw State Athletics.  Gifts to The Owls Fund are most commonly made using cash, check, or credit card.  However, donations of personal property, goods or services, real estate or appreciated securities are unique and acceptable ways through which you may support our athletic programs.
Outright and Planned Giving

Outright Gifts

Gifts to The Owls Fund are recorded through and acknowledged by the Kennesaw State University Athletic Association (KSUAA). Gifts to the athletics program typically are cash gifts, but contributions of personal property, goods or services, real estate or appreciated securities can mean substantial support for Kennesaw State.  The Owls Fund has the ability to accept monthly credit/debit card drafts as well as payroll deductions for employees of Kennesaw State University.

Please make all checks payable to Kennesaw State University Athletic Association or KSUAA. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Planned Gifts: Bequests and Life Income Trusts

You can qualify now for high levels of recognition within The Owls Fund by making the Kennesaw State University Athletic Association/one of our athletic programs a beneficiary in your will or by setting up a life income trust with us.  Making a substantial gift of this kind may provide donors with significant income and estate tax savings.

Matching Giving

Matching Gifts

Many organizations recognize provide support for higher education through individual matching gift programs. You or your spouse may work for one of the 8,800 corporations and businesses that match private gifts from employees to educational institutions. Each company has different deadlines, requirements and instructions, but the benefit of a matching gift can be significant for our athletics program.  Gifts are often matched at a dollar-for-dollar rate.  However, some companies offer programs that match at double, triple – and in some cases – quadruple the rate of the employee contribution.  Directors, retirees and spouses of employees may also be eligible for a match.
It is your responsibility to follow your company's specific guidelines for securing a matching gift.  Any corporate match received by KSUAA will be added to your gift credit and will impact your Owls Fund giving level.
